Why strong antiperspirants are applied at night

An overnight routine is not just a ritual. During a period of lower sweat activity, the formula has time to act evenly on dry skin.

Moisture gets in the way

If the skin remains damp after a shower or is sweating during application, the product may spread less predictably and the risk of stinging may increase. The skin should therefore be towel-dried and then allowed to dry completely.

More is not necessarily better

A thick layer does not guarantee a stronger result. It takes longer to dry, transfers to fabric more easily and is more likely to cause discomfort. Follow the amount specified for your exact product version.

In the morning

If the directions for an overnight product say to wash it off, remove any residue in the morning. Do not apply this routine to every daily roll-on: different formats and active ingredients may be used differently.
